Created and performed by Idealogía , Mikvah is inspired by the history of Can Monroig and the Jewish community , to which undoubtedly this house belonged. Through interpretation, performance and live music, the play takes us from the thirteenth century to the present day, involving the spectator of what happened 700 years ago in Mallorca, and particularly in Inca.
Mikvé reveals the remains of the call (Jewish quarter) of Inca, placing Can Monroig in what was probably a synagogue or a common area of the Jewish community. Here were celebrated ritual baths of purification called Mikveh. It is interpreted by Bernat Gran, Cati Serra, Toni March and Valentin Rus.
After the session of Saturday 22 a Jewish and Arab degustation dinner will be offered reinterpreted by French chef Sixte de Saint Hilaire, a tireless adventurer currently residing in Felanitx (Mallorca).
Jewish Dinner (optional ): 20 € ( only on Saturday 22)
