This group was created in Barcelona in 2003 and consists of six musicians from the Balkans and an Israeli singer. One of their projects is this family concert titled The Moussakis, music of the Balkans into a melata, which includes the musical tradition of the different ethnic groups living in the Balkan Peninsula.
A repertoire which includes Jewish klezmer and Sephardic music, as well as popular songs of Greece and Turkey among other sounds.
The Moussakis consist of Branislav Grbic (violin), Tal Ben Ari (vocals and percussion), Carola Ortiz (clarinet), Ivan Ilic (guitar), Alan Chehab (bass guitar) and Marko Jelaca (drums).
