Jazz and art come together in this exhibition of graphic artist and illustrator Jaume Salvadiego. Using drawing and watercolor, he shows pictures of some of the greatest jazz figures of all time.
In these pictures we can see Charles Mingus, Sonny Rollins, Thelonious Monk, John Coltrane, Billie Holiday, Miles Davis, Serge Gainsbourg, Chet Baker and Dee-Dee Bridgewater and McCoy Tyner, among other artists of this genre.
The exhibition is part of El sonido del silencio (the sound of silence), a program of cultural and social activities to benefit the association APNAB- Kaspar Hauser to be held from September 17th to October 16th
Jaume Salvadiego has made some innovative high quality reproductions, on art paper, 30x40 cm (80 €) and sheets of 20X30 cm (25 €), which will be on sale during the exhibition. Proceeds from all sales will go to the APNAB-Gaspar Hauser (Association of Parents of Autistic Children).
