Nadal a Calvià

The Calvià City Council, together with the neighborhood associations, the AMIPA and other social entities of the municipality, have developed a program of activities to celebrate Christmas 2020, a year marked by the coronavirus pandemic. Some activities adapted to the sanitary restrictions and that have forced to cancel those that supposed an agglomeration of people.

It will be a Christmas of solidarity, since the City Council this year has launched the campaign Apadrina un regalo (Sponsor a gift), so that all children have their gift. In addition, it has not put decorative lights on the streets to allocate the budget to families that are suffering the effects of the pandemic in a special way, and encourages families to decorate facades and balconies by participating in a contest with twelve prizes of € 500 in bonds to consume in the shops of the municipality.

The program of activities includes music concerts dedicated to Christmas, family shows, a cooking show, storytelling, magic shows and a long etcetera. Check the activities program.
