The Mallorcan organist Nadal Roig closes the XII Vila de Santanyí International Music Festival with this concert in the parish church of Sant Andreu.
Born in Petra (Mallorca), he began his organ studies at the Escolania de Lluc with Rafel Riera. He has studied with Bartomeu Mut at the Professional Conservatory of Music of Mallorca and also with the masters Paolo Crivellaro and Pier Damiano Peretti at the University of the Arts in Berlin.
Through the Erasmus programme, he has also studied with the master Pieter van Dijk at the Amsterdam Conservatory. At the same time, he has expanded his training with performance classes with renowned organists such as Andrés Cea Galán, Lorenzo Ghielmi and Michel Bouvard. He has participated in various organ competitions and was awarded at the 7th Joseph Gabler International Organ Competition (2018) and also at the 4th Francisco Salinas Organ Competition (2022).
He has performed as a soloist with chamber music groups in different places in Spain, Germany and the Netherlands, including venues such as the Berlin Philharmonic, De Nieuwe Kerk in Amsterdam and the Barcelona Cathedral.
