Odd Steinar Albridgtsen (Tromsø, 1985) is another of the Norwegian artists who parades this year through the Alternatilla Jazz festival. The guitarist has a very personal style, which combines contemporary melodic jazz with influences from American bebop and Latin American music. Mode (Recorda Records, 2016), is his debut album.
The quintet consists of Odd Steinar Albrigtsen (guitar), Gianni Gabliardi (saxophone), Erlend Slettevoll (piano), Trygve Fiske (double bass) and Tore Sandbakken (drums).
