Open day in Son Fornés

On the occasion of the celebration of the Day of the Balearic Islands, today is open house at the Archaeological Museum of Son Fornes.

A monographic museum, which occupies a completely restored flour mill of the eighteenth century It exhibits the findings made in the archeological site of Son Fornes, located 2.4 kilometers from the town of Montuïri and declared Artistic Historical Monument in 1966.

The exhibition covers three periods, from the ninth century BC until I after our era: talayotic, posttalayotic and classic.
