Opticaigua'15

This photo contest, now in its eighth edition, is celebrated around World Water Day (March 22) and is organized by the municipal corporation of Palma EMAYA. The aim of marking this day is to educate society about the importance of water as a natural resource, promoting responsible consumption.

In 2015 the theme for World Water Day is Water and Sustainable Development, which at the same time serves as a theme for the competition Opticaigua. Therefore, all photographs submitted must be related to this theme. The deadline for submitting photographs is March 22 to April 22, 2015.

The following prizes are awarded:
- First prize: € 700 worth of photo products
- Second prize: € 200 worth of photo products
- Third prize: € 150 worth of photo products
- Five consolation prizes: € 100 voucher printing / developing
- 5 finalist: voucher for a photography workshop

The winning photos, along with a selection of the best pictures submitted, will be exhibited in the patio of Casal Solleric.
