Orquestra Simfònica del Conservatori

Continuation of the Concert Series of the Superior Conservatory of Music of the Balearic Islands with a new appointment starring the Symphony Orchestra of the institution, the concert is directed by Alfredo Oyaguez and also participating clarinetist Eduardo Bernabeu and the winners of the soloist competition of the Conservatori.

The program includes works by Benedetto Marcello, Jacques Ibert, André Jolivet, Rimsky Korsakov and George Gershwin. Of this American composer they will interpret two of his most famous works: An American in Paris  and Suite of the opera Porgy and Bess, masterfully versioned by Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald.
