Víctor Pablo Pérez directs the eleventh concert of the Season 2016-2017 of the OSIB. This conductor from Burgos in 1954 is one of the promoters of classical music in Spain since the eighties.
Alongside the Symphonic Orchestra will perform the soprano María Espada and the baritone Sebastià Peris, as well as the Coral Universitat de les Illes Balears.
The program consists of Symphony n. 2 by Jean Sibelius and Requiem by Gabriel Faure, one of the most popular requiem masses written between 1886 and 1888.
