The current chief conductor of the orchestra 'Ciutat de Palma', Josep Vicent, directs this twelfth and final concert of the season with the intervention as soloist the Mallorcan Andreu Riera, one of the most outstanding pianists of the national scene.
The program goes beyond the classical canon and takes a tour through the musical genre, with West Side Story by Leonard Bernstein, Broadway Musicals in Concert - compositions of John Kanders, Henry Mancini, John Williams, Beth Custer, etc - and Rhapsody in Blue by George Gershwin.
