Pablo Mielgo directs the Orquestra Simfònica Illes Balears in this concert of the cycle Estius Simfònics 2018 that takes place in the Castell de Bellver in Palma. Mezzosoprano María José Montiel performs as soloist.
The program is composed of Le Tombeau de Couperin, by Maurice Ravel, the premiere in an orchestral version of 7 nanas, by Antoni Parera Fons, and fragments of opera and zarzuela by Camile Saint-Saëns, Ambroise Thomas, Georges Bizet, José Serrano, Vicente Lleó and Ruperto Chapí.
