This determined and courageous proposal, with a stamp of authenticity. Ovella negra fuses the traditional music of Mallorca and jazz, and also adds a component: dance. Male and female dancers bring movements of both styles to the show, weaving their own dances with lindy hop.
Joan Frontera's arrangements, on piano, gain strength with the contribution of Teo Salvà on drums and Pablo di Salvo on double bass, interpreting jotas, boleros, fandangos or those same types of music passed through the jazz sieve.
The dance team is made up of: Catalina Barceló, Biel Hernández, Blanca Ribas, Vicenç Marí, Carme Roig, Pere Mas and Catin Luna, as choreographic advisor.
