'Pablo Picasso and Joan Miró: History of a friendship'

Pablo Picasso (Málaga, 1881 -Mougins, France, 1973) and Joan Miró (Barcelona, 1893 - Palma, 1983) met in 1920 when young Miró visited Picasso's studio on rue La Boétie in Paris. Despite their age difference and having opposing personalities, they began an assiduous and professional friendship that lasted until the death of the Malaga painter.

This exhibition, curated by Joan Punyet Miró, occupies the entire top floor of the Can Prunera museum and shows a collection of personal letters from the two geniuses, correspondence maintained over many decades and a set of ceramics and engravings.
