'Paco de Lucía and Mallorca'

A recognition of the work and relationship of the musician with the island. Is presented the documentary Paco de Lucia: La Búsqueda, with subsequent talk with his son and daughter Curro Sánchez, as a director, and Lucía Sánchez as a producer, also other invited participants.

Paco de Lucía: la búsqueda tells the career of this brilliant guitarist with the involvement of essential musics as Carlos Santana, Alejandro Sanz, John Mclaughlin, Estrella Morente, Pepe de Lucía, Chick Corea, Al Di Meola, Rubén Blades, Carlos Benavent, Jorge Pardo, amongst others.

The film was selected in Festival de San Sebastián Zabaltegi section and is a vital tour that starts the first time Paco gets a guitar at his home in Algeciras (only 7 years) and culminates with the composition of his latest album Canción Andaluza. Over 60 years of searching, music research, going beyond the established to turn marginal flamenco into a world wide music.
