The Palma Folk festival presents this musical project that covers the soundscape of the Argentine territory. Its creators are Diego Iribe (guitars and looping) and Demian Bellido (percussion and keyboards), with Marijo Ribas in the visuals.
They have previously published Ressonàncies del Pla, where Ribas developed the visuals with videos from the Argentine historical archive that dialogue between the Pampas plain and the Pla de Mallorca.
After Santos Lugares, they now present their new record production, Astucia criolla, released by the Chilean label New Latam Beats. His music investigates folkloric rhythms and timbres such as the chacarera and the milonga, and mixes typical instruments and rhythms with beats and processes of electronic music.
