Paolo Fresu Devil Quartet

This edition of Alternatilla Jazz Festival has Italy as the guest country, and Paolo Fresu is one of its most relevant musicians in current jazz. With endless awards, records and collaborations throughout the 40 years he has been playing the trumpet, Fresu is already one of the great musicians and masters of international Jazz.

In 2007 he formed the Paolo Fresu Devil Quartet with Bebo Ferra (guitar), Paolino Dalla Porta (bass) and Stefano Bagnoli (percussion). His most outstanding album is Desertico (2013), in which he unleashes the most daring part of him. Songs on the album include a notable cover of The Rolling Stones' (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction, as well as Blame It on My Youth.
