The 2022 Palma Jazz Festival starts off with this Swing Engine parade that begins in Plaza d'Espanya. This band was born with the desire to make music to dance and listen to, emphasizing interaction with the public and the sound and language of swing.
Swing Engine is made up of Cesc Badia (trumpet), Gerard Serrano (trombone), Carlos Ruiz (clarinet), Joan Torrentó Vilarnau (banjo), Johannes North (sousaphone) and Pablo Ruiz (washboard).
