Art Vocal Ensemble premieres its 20th production delving fully into the baroque sacred repertoire through the musical discourse of three great figures of the time: Antonio Vivaldi (Venice, 1678-Vienna, 1741), Giovanni Battista Pergolesi Papal States, 1710-Naples , 1736) and Domenico Scarlatti (Naples, 1685-Madrid, 1757).
In the concert Passion and sacred lyricism in the Baroque, directed by Llorenç Gelabert Gual, two vocal soloists specialized in baroque take part, with versatile voices full of nuances: soprano Laia Frigolé and countertenor Hugo Bolívar. Accompanied by the string ensemble Art Vocal Ensemble headed by concertmaster Ricardo Duato.
The premiere of this production will take place on Saturday March 26 at the church of La Porciúncula in S'Arenal (Palma) and on Sunday 27 at the church of Monti-sion in Pollença.
