The young Spanish guitarist Matthew Gonzalez Pedro (Avila, 1983), winner of several national and international competitions, is considered one of the best classical guitar players of his generation internationally.
He also develops a facet as a teacher, currently at the Conservatory of Music of the Balearic Islands as a professor.
He offers a concert comprising: Andante-Largo Op 5. N 5 and Fantasia Op 30 N 7 (F. Sor), Sonata n. 1 Mexican (M.M. Ponce), Tempo di Sonata (Oscar Espla) and Walker's Sonata (Leo Brower).
The concert is part of the cycle Concerts of Teachers at the Conservatory of Music of the Balearic Islands 2013, organized by the teachers themselves in collaboration with the Conservatory, Alma Concerts and the International Music Festival Deia.
