The Valencian group led by the harpsichordist and director Marian Montagut Harmonia del Parnàs presents this proposal at the XXV Palma Ancient Music Festival. Per dolce ardore is a very special sound tasting with a very delicate repertoire whose main ingredient is the few Baroque compositions that include the chalumeau, a wind instrument from the clarinet family.
Harmonia del Parnàs is made up of Belén Roig (soprano), Justo Sanz (chalumeau and bec flutes), Guillermo Martínez (cello) and Marian Rosa Montagut (harpsichord and direction).
The Per dolce ardore program consists of:
Tutto in pianto, by Joseph I of Habsburg (1678-1711)
Cantata 'E già tre volte', by Giuseppe Porsile (1680-1750)
Io t'offesi, by Antonio Caldara (1670-1736)
