The Casal de Cultura Can Gelabert hosts three exhibitions until 31 October. One of them is Nassots, a collection of characters by cartoonist and illustrator Pere Joan (Palma, 1956) that are distinguished by their masks in the form of huge noses.
For her part, the ceramist Margalida Escalas (Felanitx, 1953) presents Escultures i papers (Sculptures and papers), a selection of her most recent artistic production. It consists of pieces of refractory material that evoke architectural formsboth ancient and contemporary.
The third of the exhibitions shows the works selected in the XXXIVVisual Arts Contest of Binissalem. The authors are: Jorge Cabral, Julio Leon, Isabel Serra, Alberto Polo, David Campaner, Schalekamp Fabian, Jerome Forradellas, Pastor Aina, Ian Waelder, Xisco Duarte, Carmen Cañadas, Xisco Perello, Marta Font, Toni Crespo, Raimundo Moragues, AinaCortès and Sara Yohuate.
