Xisco Bonnín (Palma, 1967) presents in the Fundació Coll Bardolet this exhibition of photography that focuses on the recovery of errors that occur in the process of copying the file of an image.
Digital photographs are copied and duplicated on computer equipment using backup copies, mirror copies, back-ups, etc. Sometimes fatal errors occur that damage the file, but they can also produce new images that fragment and re-construct the appearance of reality, generating new plastic and aesthetic approaches.
Since 2011, Xisco Bonnín directs the Archive of Sound and Image of Mallorca.
