'Photographic archive of Maria Grimalt, Notxe'

The Santanyí City Council pays homage to Maria Grimalt, Notxe (Santanyí, 1920-2004), with this exhibition in the Sala Bússer. A woman who worked as a photographer at the Estudi Vidal, with teacher Guillem Vidal, Bennàssar, at a time when it was not a common profession for a woman.

After the digitization and cataloging process of a large part of the Estudi Vidal photographic archive, made up of the productions of both, this exhibition presents a small sample of digital prints from the digitization of the original negatives. Thus, the exhibition also aims to bring to light the memories of a town and its people.
