This exhibition by the artist Mónica Ridruejo aims to make visitors aware of the importance of conserving and protecting Posidonia, an endemic species of the Mediterranean that contributes vitally to keeping its waters clean and transparent.
The sample includes 90 paintings and other formats made by Ridruejo in 2017 that reflect experiences and memories linked to the sea. Oil paintings of great chromatic richness that go from the figurative to the semi-abstract.
The Posidònia exhibition is organized by the Universitat Illes Balears and Fundació Sa Nostra, Caixa de Balears and sponsored by the Iberostar Group as part of its project Una ola de cambio.
