Presentation of the SMA2019

From the 18th to the 27th of July, the VIII Setmana de Música Antiga en la Colònia de Sant Pere (Artà) is celebrated. The new edition programs conferences, the screening of open-air documentaries, a day of studies and eight concerts of different formations in different areas of the nucleus.

After the presentation of the VIII Setmana de Música Antiga Colònia de Sant Pere, which takes place in this event, a lecture is held by the Catalan ethnomusicologist Jaume Ayats, who will offer an introduction to the canto a voces with a polyphonic repertoire of traditional roots.

The VIII Setmana de Música Antiga (Antiga Music Week) is celebrated from July 18 to 27 and is organized by the Music Association of the Colònia de Sant Pere.
