The Catalan guitarist, singer and composer Quimi Portet (Barcelona, 1957) presents his last album Festa Major d'Hivern (2018) at the XIII Cool Days Festival of Artà, in which the artist claims his rocker side.
It is the eleventh album since he began his career in the late eighties, which has been between pop and rock. In Festa Major d'Hivern he reminds us that rock is still a vehicle of collective thought and catharsis, with a forceful but also delicate sound.
Quimi Portet (voice and guitar) acts accompanied by Jordi Busquets (guitar) and Àngel Celada (drums).
