Rancapino Chico, ‘Hijo del Cante‘

The Paco de Lucía Mallorca 2023 Festival hosts the premiere presentation of Hijo del Cante, the new show by Alonso Núñez Fernández from Cádiz, known by the stage name of Rancapino Chico.

He is considered a great promise within pure flamenco, with references such as La Perla de Cádiz, Enrique el Mellizo or Juan Talega, and follows the mastery of the great Manolo Caracol and Juanito Valderrama.

Hijo del Cante is an anthology of flamenco songs, such as the soleá, tangos, bulerías, fandangos, etc. Rancapino Chico is accompanied by two guitarists, piano and palmeros.
