Born in Oslo in 1970, Rebekka Bakken is one of the exponents of the new generation of Scandinavian jazz singers. After studying piano and violin, in 1995 she began her professional career playing in nightclubs in New York with the Australian guitarist Wolfgang Muthspiel.
Her latest album is Most Personal, which she now presents in Palma at the Alternatilla Jazz festival.
