This year's festival is dedicated to the memory of Mallorcan poet Bartomeu Rosselló-Pòrcel (1913 - 1938), of whom this year marks the centenary of his birth. Despite his early death due to tuberculosis, he is a key figure of Catalan literature of the first half of the twentieth century.

The XV Festival of Poetry of the Mediterranean begins Tuesday June 4 at the newly created Centre de Poesia Contemporània Blai Bonet, hosting a concert presented by writer Biel Mesquida and involving poets from different origins.

The relation is the following: Bassam Al-nabris (Palestine), Felipe Benitez Reyes (Cádiz), Rosa Alice Branco (Portugal), Maria do Cabreiro (Galicia), Pau Faner (Menorca), Andreu Gomila (Mallorca), Anna Gual (Catalonia), Jordi Llavina (Catalonia), Leticia Luna (Mexico) Pogacar Marko (Croatia), Maria Victòria Secall (Mallorca), Kirmen Uribe (Basque Country) and Pau Vadells (Mallorca).
