The Maior de Pollença gallery presents a selection of recent works by José Manuel Broto under the title of Relatos. Broto is one of the most important contemporary artists of pictorial abstraction, based in Mallorca after his return from Paris in 1996.
His works, supported by a pictorial language of color, calligraphy, influenced by oriental art of resounding contrasts.
José Manuel Broto (Zaragoza, 1949) tends towards music and literature as a source of inspiration for him, as could already be seen in the Es Baluard exhibition in 2013 Broto. Great scores and now in Relatos.
