Rémi Durupt y Takao Hyakutome

Double performance by French percussionist Rémi Durupt and Japanese violinist Takao Hyakutome within the Festival ME_MMIX (Music and Video Mixed Electrónica_Música projection).

Durupt presents a very versatile program that includes outstanding representations of the repertoire for percussion soloist, as Rebonds, Iannis Xenakis and recent works such as In Rhythmoi, Octavi Rumbau.

The proposal incorporates the courtyard of Casal Solleric as an active element of the concert, as the musician plays his parts from different scenic locations, which will change the acoustic perception of the public.

Takao Hyakutome proposes a varied program with works like Intermedio alla ciaccona, of Brian Ferneyhough, pieces for amplified violin and a performance with video projection and electroacoustic media(Scam Spam, Yannis Kyriakides). The concert also includes a performance of the violinist himself.
