'Revetla' of Saint John

For years now, the tradition on this special night is that people go to the beaches of Mallorca to welcome the summer and celebrate the magic night of  Saint John (Sant Joan). A series of rituals are staged, which, according to the legend, give luck all throughout the year to the people that perform them. One of them is the traditional jumping over small bonfires.

Another meeting place is the Parc de la Mar and Ses Voltes, in Palma, of the Sant Joan is celebrated with a firework display known as correfoc (22:45 h.). This year includes five Collas, 181 demons and two beasts. After the show performance of BOC group.

Also on the Playa de Palma between the Spas 13 and 14, takes place of the Sant Joan organized by Europa FM with performances by Saravá Batucada, The Claps Rock Band and Ochentaycuatro. (20:00 h.).
