His album Summer Horns, in collaboration with Dave Koz, Mindi Abair and Gerald Albright, was nominated for Best Album of Pop Instrumental in the Grammy Awards 2014, an award that adds to the excellent positions in the charts of saxophonist Richard Elliot, who has succeeded in placing at number 1 four of his albums.

He pays tribute to the artists that inspired him, great legends like Grover Washington or Dadid Sanborn, in In the Zone, or the legendary R & B artists of his youth, in Rock Steady.

He comes to the island to participate in the new edition of Mallorca Smooth Jazz Festival, which takes place from 1 to 4 May and is dedicated to the biggest names in contemporary jazz.
