'Rigoletto'

The Opera Season Teatre Principal de Palma presents this production of Teatro Villamarta from Jerez with musical direction by José María Moreno and stage direction by Francisco Lopez.

Rigoletto, which premiered in Venice in 1851, is a famous opera in three acts by Giuseppe Verdi and libretto by Francesco Maria Piave based on the play  Le roi s'amuse  of Victor Hugo.

In this production will participate Josep Bros, Maia Planas, Pablo López, Frédérique Sizaret, Antoni Aragon and Bartomeu Bibi, among other interpreters. On the musical side it involves the Son Rapinya Music Band, the Cor del Teatre Principal and the Symphony Orchestra of the Balearic Islands.
