Asturian Rodrigo Cuevas (Oviedo, 1985) is a multidisciplinary artist who defines himself as a "folk agitator". Singer, songwriter, accordionist, percussionist, DJ, television presenter ... he is a stage beast who knows no physical or political barriers.
Trópico de Covadonga was his third show, produced by Raül Refree, directed and starred by Rodrigo Cuevas that addresses the concept of time and the cycles of the year in a contemporary popular songbook format.
His fourth album is Manual de Cortejo (2019), with which he received the Independent Music Awards for Revelation Artist and Best Fusion and World Music Album.
