Asturian Rodrigo Cuevas (Oviedo, 1985) is a multidisciplinary artist who defines himself as a "folk agitator". Singer, songwriter, accordionist, percussionist, DJ, television presenter ... he is a stage beast who knows no physical or political barriers.
Trópico de Covadonga is his third show, which he now presents at the Santuari de Consolació de Sant Joan within the cycle La lluna en vers organized by the Fundació Mallorca LiteRària.
Produced by Raül Refree, Trópico de Covadonga is directed and starred by Rodrigo Cuevas and addresses the concept of time and the cycles of the year in a contemporary popular songbook format.
