The TardOral 2023 cycle brings us Ruiseñora, an Extremaduran-Canarian duo established in Madrid formed by Elia Maqueda and Atilio González. In 2023 they published a new EP, Palmerita, Palmerita.
They define themselves as popular psychedelia, due to the ability to mix psychedelic electronics with the sounds and aesthetics recovered from Extremaduran folklore. Jotas, couplets and saetas mix with the synthesizers. Their music is a plea to modernize the most isolated deep Spain.
