Created from the Residència de Creació promoted by the Palma City Council, which brought together five different musicians from all over Mallorca, Saborino is a group that fusions traditional Mallorcan music with other styles such as pop or house.
The group debuted at the Cançons de la Mediterrània Festival, where they offered a sample of the songs they had composed during the week of artistic residency. The mix of the five multi-instrumentalists allows for a great variety of timbre combinations that gives the group an unusual richness.
The group is made up of Maria Adrover (vocals, bagpipes and flutes), Laia Ferrer (voice and cello), Sebastià Mut (vocals, keyboards, piano and accordion), Elisabet Miquel (marimba, vibraphone and percussion) and Diego Iribe 'Simone' (electric guitar and digital programming).
