Saint Joseph

The festivity of Saint Joseph (Sant Josep), is celebrated in s’Alqueria Blanca (Santanyí), where the patron saint festivities are held, with a religious service and leisure activities. S'Alqueria Blanca is a small coastal town that was originally a large farm until the sixteenth century began to establish itself as a center of population.

In Petra, the festivity is celebrated with a solemn mass, in which there is a traditional gift with a few branches of laurel blessed with wizards.
