Saint Salvador

Artà begins the celebration of its Patron Saint festival one week before Saint Salvador, and they last up to one day later. The village is filled will all kinds of different activities: street bands with music of xeremies (a typical bagpipe from Mallorca), concerts, exhibitions, bicycles races and games for children. In the past, the peasants invited the people from the village to drink fresh milk the day of the biggest festival.
