Saint Lucia

The Swedish community of Mallorca program each year a series of activities to celebrate the feast of Saint Lucia. Consists of a Christmas market in the Plaza de Cort, from six in the afternoon onwards, and a procession of children from the Swedish choir from the plaza Major to Cort, where they will offer a concert of carols in Swedish, English and Catalan.

As part of tradition, the Mayor of Palma delivers a jewel to Lucia of the year. In the event collaborate Swedish Church and the Swedish School (Svenska skolan) of Palma.
