This exhibition of artist Tomeu Vidal from Santanyí opens the cycle L'estiu a Can Melis, which this summer will present a sampling of different genres every month. The one that concerns us now is composed of sculptures in iron with inclusions of ceramics, paint, steel and wax. Vidal creates pieces that imitate nature his models are plants such as sea grass, sea lilies or mushrooms.
The exhibition is completed with a sculpture placed in the Plaça de l'Orient representing a pistil and a grain of pollen, which will remain throughout the summer.
