This exhibition brings together the work of the London artist David Zisman, sculptures in iron, wood and stone and worked with various techniques. With references to the more exotic primitivism of Matisse and the dream world of Max Ernst or Giacometti, Zisman manages to capture in his women the difficult balance between figuration and abstraction. Through a personal formal language, his work acquires a spiritual and poetic dimension.
David Zisman (1940) studied at the London School of Fashion, where he worked in the fashion sector and combined his travels with his activity as a gallery owner. Since twenty-five years he lives and works in Mallorca.
