She has such a versatile voice that she as easilly sings jazz, folk or flamenco. A quality that Silvia Perez Cruz (Gerona, 1983) expresses forming part of such diverse projects as the play El jardí dels cinc arbres, the show Camarón, the legend of the time or the soundtrack of the film Snow White with guitarist Juan Gómez Chicuelo . With the song No te puedo encontrar she won the 2013 Goya Award for Best Original Song.
Along with Javier Colina Trio she recorded in 2011 the album En la imaginación (In the imagination), which won the award for best album of jazz and contemporary music in the IV Independent Music Awards and the ARC Award (awarded by the Association of Representatives, Promoters and Managers Catalonia) in the category of jazz and blues. As a soloist she has published two albums: 11 de noviembre (2012) and Granada (2014), with Raül Fernandez Miró.
Silvia Perez Cruz returns this summer to Mallorca accompanied by a string quintet to delight us with her music in a unique setting, The Torre de Canyamel. This magnificent thirteenth century defensive structure will also host the Noa concert on August 21.
