The Danserye is a set of instrumental dances based on popular Renaissance melodies, arranged by Tielman Susato and published in 1551 as Het derdemusyckboexken. With more than fifty individual dances, the collection stands out for its simple textures and strict homophony.
This proposal by the music band SimfoVents Palma, directed by Francisco Valero-Terribas, within the 25th Palma Ancient Music Festival includes a selection of low, gallant, German, pavanes, rounds and branles dances.
