This metal sextet from the Conservatori Superior de Música de les Illes Balears was created in 2015 with the aim of promoting music for wind instruments. Its members are professors of the conservatory and its repertoire includes, in particular, original music for this type of formation, as the works of current Japanese composers who have incorporated the euphonium as an instrument for chamber music for metals. They also perform works composed for other instruments, such as Romeo and Juliet by Prokofiev.
Six For Brass is formed by Rubén González Mateo and Francisco Montoya (trumpets), Xema Borràs Sbert (trombone), Miriam Merino Díez (horn), Josep Burguera Riera (euphonium) and Àngel Torres Pallarès (tuba). Program Palma de Primavera 2018.
