Mallorcan band created in 2009 that enthuses with their folk rock with American roots. They produce works of alternative country, good old rock & roll. Their songs make you travel to beautiful places, and the lyrics have a big emotional charge. They propose everyday stories with musical and instrumental seriousness
This is a group that grows performing live and this is evidenced by the fact that they were chosen as outstanding group of the month in the tour of Artistas en ruta (artists en route) in June 2011 by Mondo Sonoro, and leaving their mark with the performances they offered at the Festival Monkey Week 2012.
Son & The Holy Ghosts is formed by Joan Grimalt (guitars), Guillem Mesquida (guitar and vocals), Xesc Carbonell (guitar), Josep Verdera (drums), Dani Pi (bass) and Jordi Vidal (keyboard).
In Lloseta, they present their latest work The Soldier & Lady Fire, Recorded at Urban Studios and produced by Rafa Rigo which will soon be published in digipack format by the company Blau DiscMedi, in collaboration with the publishing House Warner Chappell.
