Son & The Holy Ghosts

This Mallorcan band created in 2009 enthuses with their folk rock with American roots. They produce works of alternative country, good old rock & roll, with songs that make you travel to beautiful places, and the lyrics have a big emotional charge. They propose everyday stories with musical and instrumental seriousness.

It is a group that grows performing live and this is evidenced by the fact that they were chosen as outstanding group of the month in the tour of Artistas en ruta (artists en route) in June 2011 by Mondo Sonoro, and leaving their mark with the performances they offered at the Festival Monkey Week 2012.

Son & The Holy Ghosts is formed by Joan Grimalt (guitars), Guillem Mesquida (guitar and vocals), Xesc Carbonell (guitar), Josep Verdera (drums), Dani Pi (bass) and Jordi Vidal (keyboard).

Present their latest work The Soldier & Lady Fire, Recorded at Urban Studios and produced by Rafa Rigo and incorporates the themes of his previous EP Shadows & Monsters as well as four new songs. 

In Binissalem they will perform within the cycle of tapas and concerts Singloncerts, organized by Es Singlo Restaurant  and curated by Anem de Concerts.
