Extraordinary concert of the Deià International Music Festival with its new edition of Música a Deia, featuring folklore and film music. Spa Duet is a duo formed by Alfredo Oyágüez, pianist and artistic director of the Festival, and renowned saxophonist Rodrigo Vila. The concert will be held at the Can Corraca viewpoint in the Deià Cemetery.
Folklore and film music is the title of the concert, which includes works by great masters such as W. Kwan, Manuel de Falla, G. Gershwin, A. Piazzolla, E. Morricone, N. Piovani, and L. E. Bacalov.
The Deià International Music Festival 2025 is celebrated from May 14 to September 24 with concerts in: Son Marroig (Deià), Palau March (Palma), Bodegas Santa Caterina (Sencelles), the Fundació Miró Mallorca and the Deià Cemetery. The pianist Alfredo Oyágüez Montero is the artistic director of the festival.
